“Bhai, I missed you so much.” Aadya wraps her arms around me, holding me in a bear hug. 

I clutched her in my hold, caressing her back, all while stealing glances at Lia who is staring at me with an expression which is tough for me to fathom. She is readable, very, but in this moment, she appears to be the toughest puzzle to crack, a code waiting to be decrypted but no one is able to decrypt it. Not even me.

Why is she looking at me like that?

I understand Adrian and Aadya’s presence since they rarely visit India, it’s one of those rare moments when everyone can reconnect and reunite.
