I pull away from the kiss and stare at my husband. Ekaksh has his eyes already on me and that immediately coats my cheeks crimson. After so long I’m finally able to see his smile reaching his eyes and there can be no other sight more beautiful than that in my eyes. 

“Having you in my life is the best gift the almighty could’ve ever blessed me with, baby.” I say, caressing his cheek with my knuckles softly. 

“What am I to even say when he literally sent his angel, his most beautiful creation to me, wifey.” He kisses my forehead and whispers, getting a giggle out of me.

A throat clears at a distance and we step back, my cheeks burning at the mere thought of calling Aksh as my husband and being addressed as his wife. I move my eyes around to find everyone staring at us in adoration. Our parents have tears in their eyes while Aadya and Adrian stand holding each other’s hand lovingly. 

The flowers suddenly look brighter and the snow looks whiter. The northern lights glowing above us adds more to the charm of everything. I couldn’t have expected a better setup for the biggest day of my life. This feels amazing.
